The High from Magdalen College Tower

This aerial photograph of the High, taken looking westwards from Magdalen College Tower, was a popular subject for postcards in about 1905.
In the foreground is the Merton Street quadrangle of the Examination Schools.
The spire at the top left is that of All Saints’ Church, its position emphasizing the famous curve of the High.
In the middle are the well-known shapes of the spire of the University Church, the dome of the Radcliffe Camera, and the tower of the Bodleian Library that dominate Radcliffe Square.
To the south-east of the Bodleian are the twin towers of All Souls College.
