The High in 1922 from Carfax Tower

This postcard was published by F. Frith & Co. in 1922/3, although the photograph itself may be earlier. It is later than 1912, when the hatter Margetts moved into 2 Cornmarket Street.
Lloyds Bank is on the corner of Carfax on the left, and Wyatt & Sons, drapers and milliners, on the right, in a building demolished in the 1930s.
Further east are the spires of All Saints’ Church and St Mary the Virgin Church. with the Radcliffe Camera on the left..
